Native American Indian Jewelry artist Tommy Singer is known world wide for his silver art work. Two Sterling Silver feathers are placed on either side of an overlaid Silver centerpiece with a nugget of genuine Turquoise. He uses top grade Sterling Silver in all his work and number one grade genuine Sleeping Beauty Turquoise. Turquoise and other beads make up the length between the feathers and the Sterling Silver hook eye and comb clasps. His silver work is an absolute masterpiece of overlay. Jeweler's gold is also included. Tommy Singer's work is so popular that it is copied by many artist's; this is your chance to own an original Sterling Silver and Turquoise masterpiece made by the master of Silver. The Sterling Silver necklace is 22" long. Signed T. Singer and stamped Sterling. Turquoise stone may slightly vary. Thomas Singer, is known throughout the world for his jewelry work. His overlay pieces incorporate the most traditional of Navajo design - designs that have endured for years and years. Many of these designs are of Navajo rugs and other traditional designs. Jeweler Thomas Singer is a Navajo Indian from Winslow, Arizona. Tommy Singer states, "Every piece is made with the meanings from my traditional ways - the Navajo way of living, my father was a silversmith. He taught me and wanted me to continue this trade. It was by father's dream that I learn to silversmith so that I can continue his belief".


Overlay is created by "sweating" or soldering, two pieces of silver together. The top piece contains a design element which is meticulously cut out of silver. The bottom piece is oxidized and often textured to produce a contrasting background. Then carefully filed, buffed and polished to produce this fine finish.
